Makes Caprese salad into a finger food

Serves: 5


20 cherry tomatoes – halved
1 fresh buffalo mozzarella – cut in 1/2″ cubes to make 40 cubes
1 bunch, fresh basil leaves – torn in half
sea salt
fresh ground black pepper
il Fustino Extra Virgin Olive Oil
il Fustino 25 Star Aged Balsamic


  1. Using a skewer, put 1/2 tomato, cut side up, followed by a piece of mozzarella, basil, second piece of mozzarella and finish with another tomato half. Season skewers with salt, pepper, oil and vinegar.
  2. Alternatively, mozzarella can be rolled in a chiffonade of basil
